đ If You've Ever Felt Alone While Holding It All Together, This Is for You
You wake up. Get the kids ready. Handle the appointments. Clean up the mess. Smile when you donât feel like it. Hold space for everyone elseâs emotions. And at the end of the day⌠collapse into bed depleted, yet somehow still holding it all together.
Sound familiar?
This post is for the woman who does it all but quietly wonders if maybe⌠just maybe⌠itâs all too much. If youâve ever felt invisible in your strength, this is your reminder: what youâve been calling âbeing strongâ might actually be your nervous system screaming for permission to rest.
đŹ Letâs talk about invisible strength.
Thereâs a kind of strength that doesnât look like strength at all.
Itâs the kind that gets praised by others but slowly chips away at your spirit.
Itâs not always resilience sometimes, itâs hyper-independence.
And letâs be honest: hyper-independence is often a trauma response.
If youâve ever felt like you had to do it all, be it all, know it all, and carry it all alone chances are, your strength didnât come from wholeness. It came from survival.
But you donât need to survive anymore. Youâre allowed to receive.
đ§ Hereâs something different: Learn to talk to yourself out loud.
This may sound silly at first, but when you feel like you can't trust anyone, you can trust yourself. Learning to trust yourself again, rebuilding that inner self-trust, is a powerful act of healing.
Start a conversation with the one person whoâs never left your side: you.
Talking out loud to yourself is a form of emotional release. Itâs processing. Itâs rewiring. Itâs self-soothing.
Saying,
âHey, I know youâre exhausted. But I see you. Youâre doing so much.â
is more powerful than any silent self-judgment youâve repeated for years.
You donât always need a witness, you need a connection.
And sometimes the most healing connection is the one you rebuild with yourself.
đą Youâre allowed to be poured into, not just poured out.
Let this be your permission slip to stop performing strength and start receiving care from yourself, from safe others, from your future.
Yes, youâre strong. But youâre also soft. And softness deserves safety. Deserves space. Deserves support.
You donât have to prove your worth by holding everything together.
Youâve already proven it by simply existing, breathing, blooming.
